Due to the laws that govern our surgical facility, the maximum BMI we accept for surgery under general anesthesia is 40. While surgery under local anesthesia has a more flexible BMI guideline, we often limit these to a BMI of 40 or under as well, with few exceptions made for specific body types that the BMI metric does not accurately account for.

The biggest difference is that you will not meet your plastic surgeon until after you have already booked your surgery and placed your deposit. For example, if you book a Patient Care Coordinator consultation, you will meet with your PCC, discuss your surgical goals, and receive a detailed quote. If you decide to move forward, we will then schedule a virtual consultation with your selected plastic surgeon along with your surgery, pre-op, and post-op appointments. During your virtual consultation, you will meet your plastic surgeon to confirm your surgical plan. For PCC consults, all deposits are refundable until you meet with your plastic surgeon and are 100% confident that you would like to move forward!
A consultation with a Patient Care Coordinator is an amazing option for a patient who doesn’t have their heart set on a particular surgeon or simply would like to book their surgery as soon as possible. During a consultation with a PCC, you will have the opportunity to review our gallery of patient transformations AND all of the available surgical dates for each of our amazing plastic surgeons. This ultimately gives you the ability to pick whoever or whenever works best for YOU. Additionally, having a Patient Care Coordinator consultation can get you into our office sooner, allowing you to “jump the line” and get your surgery booked before others that would prefer to wait for a consultation with one of our plastic surgeons. Either option is a great choice, it just depends on your specific wants and needs. If you’re still unsure which is right for you, please call us at (407)-377-5438 and we would be happy to assist you ❤️
The waitlist for surgery depends on the plastic surgeon you’re interested in. To get a general idea of when your preferred plastic surgeon is currently booking surgery, call us at (407)-377-5438. Keep in mind this information is based on what they are booking as of today. Once you visit our office for your consultation, you will be given their updated schedule availability so you can select your surgical date.

No, there is not an age limit for surgery. Our team will evaluate you to ensure you are a good candidate for surgery, but age alone is not a determining factor.

You are required to have a responsible adult available to drive you home after your surgery. Additionally, a responsible adult must observe you for 24 hours after your surgery. Beyond this requirement patients should plan to need assistance throughout the day for bathing, standing up, walking, meal preparation, etc for about a week after surgery, but this duration does vary depending on the surgery.
Patients will be scheduled for either 1 or 2 post-operative appointments which can take place anywhere from 1 - 14 days after surgery, depending on the procedure. Additionally, patients will be scheduled for a 6 week, 3 month, and 6 month follow-up appointment with our post-operative care team. Patients can always request to see their surgeon rather than the care team when scheduling these appointments if they have something they would like their surgeon to review.

What is Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy (HBOT)?
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy involves exposing the body to 100% oxygen while inside a Hyperbaric chamber that is pressurized greater than what you normally experience. We need oxygen to heal properly, and exposing your body to 100% oxygen can accelerate the healing process by allowing more oxygen to reach treated areas. This gives the body the opportunity to heal and significantly improve, if not totally relieve patients of their presenting symptoms.
How does it work?
With HBOT the patient is breathing 100% oxygen under pressure. The increased amount of oxygen combined with pressurizing the patient helps hyperoxygenate the body. This helps to reduce swelling and discomfort while providing the body with at least 10-15 times its normal supply of oxygen.
Many doctors have been using HBOT to help plastic surgery patients recover more quickly after surgery. HBOT helps minimize swelling, cut down pain, and speed up the body’s healing processes. Oxygen also has an anti-bacterial effect, which helps reduce possible infections or fight off infection if a patient has complications post-surgery.
Benefits of HBOT with Plastic Surgery:
• Speeds up healing and recovery with plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery by up to 75%
• Dramatically reduce post-surgical bruising, swelling, and inflammation
• HBOT treatment can speed up the recovery time with elective surgery
• Scars have been shown to heal better with HBOT
• Overall less pain, less scars, less downtime for the patient, and less infections reported
• Patients can return to work faster, with less bruising, or swelling and the patients feel better overall
Package for minor surgery:
• 3 hyperbaric oxygen treatments
• 1 treatment prior to surgery
• 2 treatments immediately after surgery
Package for major surgery:
• 6 hyperbaric oxygen treatments
• 1 treatment prior to surgery
• 5 treatments immediately after surgery
